The El(lory) for Leather review

I'm with Ian Rankin, Val McDermid, Lee Child and others condemning writers jamming their own inflated reviews on Amazon. RJ Ellory and Stephen Leather admit a lapse of judgement, but writing is not a universal given, some will like your stuff others will not. The point of reading a range of reviews is so you can make your own mind up. The cream floats to the top, remember that.

I have to admit I'm very sceptical of amazon and goodreads reviews these days, which is a shame really. But you are so right - if your book is good enough then it will get published!
